Anatole Muster - anatole muster live [KU EXCLUSIVE LP]

Swiss accordionist, producer and composer Anatole Muster drops "frisbee" and "hopecore", the first two live performance videos from his new album "anatole muster live" out in full length on 20 November 2026.

The historic Tithe Barn in Landbeach, near Cambridge, with its thatched roof, timber frame and herd of healthy cows, is the main stage during the recording.  The building is one of the handful surviving tithe barns in England. The recording process was challenging, since the barn does not have any electricity. In addition, similar to medieval times, when farmers had to give away one tenth of their grain at tithe barns, Muster had to sacrifice part of his accordion, since it fell on the concrete and broke some of its buttons right before the recording.

Anatole Muster performs live with his core trio: French-Brazilian drummer Ananda Brandão and renowned English bassist Hugo Piper. The album also features Grammy-nominated drummer Louis Cole, a frequent collaborator of Muster's, on the track “Layers”.
